Shipping

All our products are available for delivery throughout New Zealand, and freight charges are calculated during the checkout process on our website.

Please note: For some addresses (rural) we may need to alter the amount to make sure the shipping costs are covered.

If this applies to your delivery address, our team will contact you once you have placed your order before we proceed.

Goods purchased via our website are dispatched within 7 working days – please get in touch if you need to make an urgent order and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Our basketball systems are shipped via Mainfreight, and the boxes will be strapped to a palette.

Please make sure the delivery address that you provide is suitable for a Mainfreight truck to deliver to.

  • Airtime 554 – 3 boxes (Pole, Backboard & Rim): Total weight 197 kg
  • Airtime 660 – 3 boxes (Pole, Backboard & Rim): Total weight 223 kg
  • Airtime 672 – 3 boxes (Pole, Backboard & Rim): Total weight 287 kg
  • Airtime 872 – 4 boxes (Pole, Extension arms, Backboard & Rim): Total weight 340kg
  • Airtime 684 – 4 boxes (Pole, Extension arms, Backboard & Rim): Total weight 252kg
  • Airtime 885 – 4 boxes (Pole, Extension arms, Backboard & Rim): Total weight 306kg
  • Wall Mount 60 – 3 boxes (Extension arms, Backboard & Rim): Total weight 121kg

All basketball systems are VERY heavy so please note when Mainfreight calls you to arrange delivery details, check that they can unload the items using a palette jack. This is what we suggest to them also, however if for some reason they need hand help, we suggest 3-4 people for the weight of the items.

Smaller items (including rims/basketballs/spare parts) are dispatched via NZ POST.

Once your item/s are ready to be dispatched, our team will email your tracking number so that you can keep an eye on the progress of your item/s.

If any of the boxes/items are damaged upon delivery to you, you must let the driver know to record this before you sign for the delivery. If you can then please take photos (for evidence) and send to info@airtimehoops.co.nz so we can sort this out with Mainfreight/NZ POST. Any claims need to be made within 7 days of delivery.

PICK UP

If you live locally, you are welcome to pick your items up from our warehouse to save on shipping costs.

You can do this by selecting “Local Pickup” at the checkout.

When our team is processing your order, we will contact you directly to arrange a day/time to do this.

Please note: For the In-ground basketball systems, you will need a trailer.

RETURNS

Once you have opened the boxes, unless the product is faulty, the items cannot be returned to us for a refund/change of mind/product swap.

Our products are not packaged in New Zealand, meaning once the packaging has been opened, we are unable to re-sell the items if returned.

If you are unsure of what this means for you, please contact info@airtimehoops.co.nz – we will ask you for photo evidence of the boxes/items before we proceed with an outcome for you.

Please note: All items that are returned to us will be refunded minus the shipping costs.
